The most important of all is that through our efforts and your support, God changed the population of Heaven and hell by 106 lives. That is why we go and do the things we do, to make an impact on people more than just mobility. God is good, all the time.
We have been home now over a month and some days it seems so distant, other days so recent.
There are many blessings and things that could be told about, how someone would be searching for parts or a chair might need a special customization, we would pray for that part. Then another person would know where to look because they had just seen it or the fix would become obvious.
Many "loaves & fishes" moments all week long.
Perhaps the best was last, when in our human limitations, we worried that we were going to run out of chairs because we had more people coming in than we had chairs in the store house. God provided all of our needs, the same way He always has. Never late, never lacking, enough for the day. Just as we are instructed to pray, "give us this day.....".
Perhaps the best day of the week was Thursday when Marciella came to the station where Carolyn, Lynell and I were serving. I had been in Trujillo for the first time in 2009 and Marciella came and the team I served with helped to provide her with a small chair. She stuck in my memory because as were waiting for her new cushion she climbed in my lap for a visit. I learned this year that she thought that Father Christmas had brought her a chair then. And that he had returned to fix her new one. Anyway, it was a very special moment for me, to see her again and that she remembered me.
I am looking forward to the next time I am blessed to serve with Joni and Friends on a Wheels for the World mission. God bless and have a Very Merry Christmas time with friends and family.
